Chair basic
A chair designed from wood and plastic made by hand in assignment for the material basic of the second year of the Design Academy.
For this project I wanted to involve multiple skill that I learned over the course of the first year.
Sketches for the chair were first translated in smaller scale models. Then I made a 1:1 3d model using Rhino 7.
The seating is made from fiberglas and the spacers that attach to the seat are casted in rubber. The part on which the backrest attaches to is laminated wood made in a mold.
